We are looking for a mid level Oracle Specialist to support and enhance Oracle E Business Suite, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Oracle Database environments for our Higher Education and enterprise clients. You will be a critical part of our Managed Services team, keeping mission critical finance, HR, and student or customer facing workloads stable, secure, and performant.

What You Will Do
- Administer and maintain Oracle Database (12c, 19c, 21c) environments including installation, patching, backup and recovery (RMAN), performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Support Oracle E Business Suite (EBS) modules relevant to Higher Education, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, Payroll, and HR.
- Administer and optimize workloads running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including compute, networking, storage, autonomous database, and IAM.
- Execute cloning, patching, and upgrade activities across production and non production EBS environments with minimal downtime.
- Develop and optimize SQL, PL SQL, and shell scripts for data loads, reports, interfaces, and scheduled jobs.
- Partner with functional consultants and client finance and HR teams to translate business requirements into technical configurations and customizations.
- < Monitor environments proactively, respond to alerts within SLA, and own incident response, root cause analysis, and post incident documentation.
- Manage security posture: user provisioning, role based access, auditing, and compliance with institutional policies and FERPA.
- Support integrations between Oracle EBS and other systems such as Banner, Workday, Salesforce, and bank payment files.
- Document architectures, runbooks, and standard operating procedures for the managed services team.
What We Are Looking For
- 3 to 5 years of hands on experience as an Oracle DBA, Oracle EBS administrator, or Oracle Apps technical consultant.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Database 12c or higher, including RMAN backup and recovery, Data Guard, and performance tuning using AWR and ASH.
- Solid experience with Oracle E Business Suite R12, including patching (adop), cloning (Rapid Clone), and concurrent manager administration.
- Proficient in SQL, PL SQL, and Unix or Linux shell scripting.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services such as Compute, VCN, Object Storage, and Autonomous Database.
- Experience with change management, ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice), and ITIL style incident and problem management.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a calm approach to production incidents.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and availability to overlap at least 4 hours per day with US Eastern Time business hours.
- Willingness to participate in an on call rotation for critical client environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) for Database or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certifications.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP or Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Exposure to OCI to on premises hybrid architectures, FastConnect, or site to site VPN.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience supporting Higher Education clients or integrating with Ellucian Banner, Workday Student, or PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
- Scripting experience in Python or Bash for automation of DBA tasks.
